GROOMING
At Oak and Elm Tree, we offer consent-based grooming services. This means that instead of "just getting it done", we focus giving the dogs bodily autonomy - they have the option to say no. Giving dogs choice helps lower stress and anxiety while increasing their happiness and confidence, leading to a more positive experience.
Grooms
Our grooms are all inclusive, we tailor each one to the individual dog and their needs. Every groom includes a nail trim, shampoo and condition, ear cleaning, brush out, and hair cut. We may also do a mud bath or other skin therapies at no extra cost!
A la Carte
We offer various a la carte services that you can schedule separately from a bath or groom! These services include nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression, and paw soaks.
Baths
Just because your dog doesn't need a haircut doesn't mean they wouldn't benefit from a professional bath. It's a great way to check and maintain skin health and regular bathing and brushing helps with shedding!
Creative Grooming
Want your dog to look unique? Like to add a pop of color? Or maybe you just want to try something different.

Handstripping
Handstripping is the ideal grooming technique for dogs with wire-hair. Common breeds include most terriers, wire-haired pointers, griffons, and cocker spaniels
This technique keeps the desirable qualities of a wire coat - natural oils that help keep the dog clean, healthy hair that is easy to brush out, and low maintenance for the owner! Handstripping also helps keep the skin healthy
